OneChicago operates two trading platforms, a matching/reporting engine for Block and EFP trades called OCX.BETS, and a second traditional high speed low latency matching engine based on the CBOEdirect platform. Trading firms have multiple options in selecting physical connectivity methodology and providers.
OCX.BETS is located in an east coast data center, firms can provide their own telecommunications, use a VPN or the general internet. Most of the customers base has chosen to communicate over the general internet.
Please contact OCX Operations at 312.424.8507 or operations @onechicago.com for additional information.
OneChicago’s CBOEdirect instance is collocated with the CBOE and CFE instances of CBOEdirect.
Trading firms can use select extranet providers or can provide their own telecommunications to our data centers. You can find the Instructions here.
Extranet service providers approved for providing connectivity to the OneChicago CBOEdirect engine are identified in the Network Connectivity document noted above. Extranet connections may be used for access to both the production and test networks.
