OneChicago Connectivity

OneChicago’s core match engine is the OneChicago instance of CBOEdirect which is collocated with the CBOE and CFE instances of CBOEdirect.
Trading firms have multiple options in selecting physical connectivity methodology and providers.

CBOEconnect Network Connections
CBOEconnect is a managed high-availability, fault tolerant and secure WAN service for connecting to the OneChicago match engine. CBOE, through relationships with major network service providers, will provision, manage and maintain WAN routers and network links from CBOE to the firm site. CBOEconnect may be used for access to both the production and test networks.

Extranet Providers
Extranet service providers approved for providing connectivity to the OneChicago match engine are SAVVIS, SFTI and Transaction Network Services. The Extranet provider is responsible for the management of the connection between the firm and the CBOE. Extranet connections may be used for access to both the production and test networks. Direct Connect
With direct network connections, firms must provide their own redundant network lines and routers at the CBOE facility. Direct connections may only be used for access to the CBOE production network. Analog or ISDN dialup or VPN must be used for access to the CBOE test network. The following vendors can facilitate Direct Connect access:
